Let's Talk Peace!

Today our students did an interview with Achieve Hartford, a local non-profit that advocates for education reform and community involvement! Our students were excellent! They reflected on some major questions concerning equity in our city and school system with thoughtful and profound insight (as to be expected from these exceptional young ladies)!

Some of the major questions we focused on were the following:

1.      In your experience, what issues related to equity have you encountered or witnessed?

2.      What do you think should be done about them?

3.      In discussing the after-effects of apartheid, what do you think Hartford might learn from that experience?
